Manong ng Pa-­Aling, directly translated as Man of Pa-­Aling, is the incredible story of man’s natural relationship with the ocean. And amidst physical frailty, and of his age, Manong decides what he will do next after retiring from his only known profession, to be a fisherman.

E del Mundo

Born and raised in the Philippines, filmmaker E DEL MUNDO backs up her youthful vigor with a pre law degree from the De La Salle University, Manila and an MFA in Film under the scholarship of filmmaker Brett Ratner. She is currently among the prestigious Women in Film's Mentor Circle in Los Angeles. E's latest project, "The Warship" is with the recently launched first edition of Biennale College Cinema VR (Virtual Reality) Lab, a program of the Venice Film Festival. A proponent of VR in the country, she is poised to establish VRManila by the end of this year. She is currently developing indie genre projects shuttling from Los Angeles and Manila through her iLong Productions company. A diving aficionado, she makes sure the ocean is featured and discussed in her films.
